Watch the Humpback Whales:

One of the best attractions of Maui is the fact that from November to April, humpback whales return to the sea for their mating season. If you happen to be in Maui during this period, you can watch the endangered humpback whales. Not many people have the luck to witness such an amazing spectacle but if you go to Maui make sure that you plan it accordingly so that you don’t miss the opportunity.

Enjoy Local Cuisine:

When you are visiting Maui, make sure that you eat at some of the traditional Hawaii hotels which serve the local dishes. Hawaii is famous for its exquisite cuisine and if you are on a vacation in Maui, you cannot miss out on the cuisine at any cost. Poi, Kalua pig and Haupia are some of the Hawaiian delicacies that are cooked in earthen pots and served with traditional garnishing.

Sightseeing:

One of the best things about Maui is that you never run out of historical locations and tourist spots to visit. The Buddha in Maui is one of the largest in the world and there are museums about whaling history which are of great interest to the tourists.
